LOST your head?

I was with a couple of friends on Friday when one of them said to me,

“Did you hear what happened the other day?”

Having no idea what she was talking about, I answered with,

“No, what?”

As she began to tell me, my stomach dropped and my eyes glared in disbelief.

She told me that a couple of days ago an innocent man was stabbed and decapitated whilst sleeping on a country bus.

I thought… Could this be real? It just sounded far too much like one of those thriller movies.

Hostel or Hannibal-the-remake?

Wanting to know whether this disturbing crime was real, I did a quick search only to find hundreds of articles pop up from all over the place.

A man decapitated on bus journey”, “Bus Passenger Is Decapitated”, “Sleeping bus passenger decapitated”, “Bus Passenger beheaded seat mate, witness says“…and so on.

Here is the full story…

A Canadian Greyhound bus of thirty-seven people was travelling

along peacefully, when out of no where an unknown man, who was wearing dark sunglasses, pulled out a hunting knife and began violently stabbing a young man who was sitting next to him sleeping (SMH, 2008).

People began to notice after hearing “blood-curdling screams” (SMH, 2008) and abnormal movement.

Little did everyone know the worst was yet to come!

This inhumane attacker repeatedly stabbed the victim 40 to 50 times. With the victim struggling to stay alive, the attacker destroyed all hope when he took the final plunge and decapitated the innocent man.

With the bus furiously coming to a stop, the passengers terrified, rushed off in shock.

Luckily the driver disabled the vehicle, locking the attacker on the bus creating no escape.

Just when everyone thought it was over, the attacker went back to the

victim and brought his head to the front of the bus, dropped it on the floor for everyone to see and began kicking it around the bus.

After many screams, the attacker was finally brought to justice when he was

caught!

Though this terrible crime came to an end, most were left with anxious concern.

It was reported in the SMH article that what came as a shock to most onlookers was how the attacker actually behaved during the attack.

“When he was attacking him, he was calm - it was like he was at the beach. There was no rage … he was just like a robot stabbing the guy,” said passenger Garnet Caton to the SMH. Garnet Caton was sitting in front of the victim and attacker at the time.

Isn’t this crazy!

What a psychopath!
